Meeting To Be Rescheduled
I know not all of you are Maverick's fans but due to the interest in this
game the DVAF meeting is going to be rescheduled. You will recieve info

3rd Meeting Scheduled - June 15th
All,
The June meeting will be held Thursday evening, 7pm on June 15th, 2006. The location will be the same as it was in May: ArtSpirit in the Bishop Arts District.

2nd Meeting Notes
The Second meeting of the DVAF was attended by Linda McLemore, Hal Samples, Sarah Jane Semrad, Robb Greenhoe, Al Glover
Billy Miller, Hans Hendley, Casey Sellers and Chris.
Of our 3 Action Items, one was accomplished, the Webblog – thanks Billy! Our Mission Statement is going to take some time and energy and we decided to let the group evolve for a while first. We will also need to decide on an event that all of us can support.
It was decided that we should have consistent monthly meetings; the next one being JUNE 15, location TBA. It was also decided that we will use the time together for EDUCATION FOR ARTISTS AND MAKING THE COMMUNITY BETTER.
We will have a lecturer for our June meeting, Topic and person TBA. Currently Al Glover & Robb Greenhoe are looking into getting Constance White as a speaker, with the possibility of meeting at the Victory Plaza Meeting Building.

Keep conversation going
Collaborate with other groups
Bring lecturers in
Artists coming together

Victory Arts Project - Artist Meeting
You are invited to attend the first Victory Arts project meeting for potential artist contributors.
Members of Victory Park and Foghorn Creative will present the Victory Arts project, as well as, field any questions you may have about the project.
It will also be an opportunity for the Dallas-area artists community to articulate how the space could be used by the public at large. Afterwards, the group will take a guided tour of Victory Plaza.

Go south through tollbooth and look for sign that reads Harry Hines Blvd.
Follow Harry Hines to Field Street. Turn right on Field Street to Olive Street.

Follow the signs to the Victory Marketing Center, a one-story, gray steel building.
The entry drive will be on the left-hand side of Victory Avenue between Olive and Lamar – just opposite the Victory Park water tower.

Take Hwy. 75 (Central Expressway to Woodall Rodgers (Exit 1 A)
Exit Field Street. Turn Right on Field Street and Left on Olive Street.
Take a left on Victory Avenue and follow the signs to the Victory Marketing Center, a one-story gray steel building.
